He is the renowned tobacco researcher and anti-smoking advocate who recently co-authored "The Cigarette Papers," an analysis of the 4,000 pages of secret Brown & Williamson Company documents that revealed the tobacco industry's 30-year knowledge of nicotine's addictiveness and the harmful health effects of smoking.
